This policy describes the cookies and similar technologies effectively used by the Hotel Eden Garden website. The inventory was verified on September 21, 2026, before and after accepting/rejecting the Shopify banner.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage, session storage, and pixels. Some are necessary for security, language, cart, and checkout; others measure usage or support personalization and marketing.
2. Legal basis for use
Strictly necessary cookies are used without consent only when they are indispensable for the transmission of the communication or the requested service, according to Art. 4 para. (6) of Law no. 506/2004. For non-essential preferences, analysis, and marketing, we request prior, free, specific, and revocable consent, according to Art. 4 para. (5) of Law no. 506/2004 and Art. 6 para. (1) let. a) of the GDPR.
3. The banner and your choice
During your first visit in regions where it is required, the Shopify banner provides equivalent options to Accept, Reject, and Manage preferences. Refusing does not block navigation, availability checking, or booking. Analytics and marketing cookies are not activated before acceptance.
You can change your choice at any time by using the button above. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing and does not automatically delete already aggregated data; you can also use your browser settings to delete existing cookies.
4. Cookies observed on the site
Names and durations may be updated by providers. "Up to" means the maximum duration observed; the browser or user can delete them sooner.

5. Categories controlled through preferences
- Necessary: cannot be deactivated from the banner as they support the requested service, security, cart, and checkout.
- Preferences: remember choices such as language and country, when not strictly necessary.
- Analytics: help us understand site usage and page performance.
- Marketing: attribution, communication personalization, and advertising, if such features are active.
6. Third-party services and external resources
- Shopify and Shop provide the platform, cart, checkout, security, banner, and, if you consent, analysis/marketing.
- PynBooking receives period and occupancy data for checking availability and rates. During the audit, no PynBooking cookie was observed on the store domain; data transfer is explained in the Privacy Policy.
- Google Maps is embedded on the Contact and Location pages. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP, browser, and referring page and may use its own technologies.
- Google Fonts delivers the site font and receives technical data necessary for resource delivery.
If you open a link to an external platform, that platform's policy applies on its domain.
7. How to control cookies in your browser
TheYou can delete site data or block cookies from the settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, or the browser you use. Blocking all cookies may prevent the cart, checkout, preferences, and some security measures from functioning.
8. Personal data and rights

9. Updates and contact
